Takedown case recommendation

So I just got a used browning 725 sporting. I didn't realize that these shotguns don't come with a fitted hard case like most shotguns in that price range. Beautiful shotgun though and fits me like a glove.

I looked at some cases like the skb and I liked the way the interior looked but I prefer a hard case. I also like the pelican v700 but it seems a little excessively large (width wise). I like the browning cases but yikes... Are they really $400?

Can anyone recommend a takedown case? Preferably with compartments for an over under. I want to use it primarily for storage and going to the range. I don't really have a budget in mind because I base my decisions based on whether I feel it is worth it. I could be convinced that a 80 dollar case is sufficient or that a 400 case is worth it.

I have a Boyt Harness take down case. Use it for my 725 upland hunting & my Citori CXS. It has proven to be excellent, very durable canvas, large zippers, & very good interior protection. Only complaint is it is a bit tight for 30” barrels with extended chokes. I purchased it while snowbirding in USA from Optic Planet a few years ago, & no doubt can order from them now, but I suspect they are available in Canada. They look great & are high quality.
 
Check Jeffs Outfitters website. They have a great selection of takedown cases in various price ranges. I have a couple of them and the quality is excellent, price very reasonable and their service unbeatable. They ship to Canada too but unless you are in a real hurry I would suggest you specify USPS ( United States Postal Service) for shipping, the default courier is three times the cost and not much quicker anyway.
 
Going to the range, my shotguns are ready to go, I use a shotgun bag, many to be found in the $20-25 range.

At home I store them in a gun sock inside the safe fully assembled.
 
I like the Browning cases personally. I just purchased a new Browning two o/u"s takedown case from Epps to put my wife's BT-99 and my Citori XT in for travelling to shoots. Epps has a good stock of take-down cases at competitive prices. They have them starting at $199 so don't know which one you looked at $400 unless it was the two gun version like I just purchased?
 
I have used the SKB for years without any problems.-- I lied one problem, I have used it so much the velcro fasteners are starting to wear out. ( not really a problem, just a little inconvenient)
 
Browning totally cheaps out by not providing a case with these guns. Even though the guns are comparable, Beretta feels more premium because they ship with a Negrini case. (I shoot a Browning gun)

I have a Negrini universal case and find it's really well designed and built. Not inexpensive, but good quality. They are light, durable, locks, and are TSA certified for flying. I felt it was a worthwhile investment.

The Browning cases have a classic look but I don't find them practical. They're too clumsy for carrying around, and can cause rust if you store your gun in them. They're good for displaying your gun or taking pictures for selling.

For every day carrying to the car and club, I prefer a soft takedown case. It carries well and does not look like a gun case.

Same here, LL Bean canvas is nice... But I'd still like a Leg O Mutton takedown case, just because.
