Got my 1911 and 213 from Canam yesterday. I had found a good video on youtube for complete takedown of the 1911,which went fairly smoothly, but can't find anything for the 213. Actually, I did find a tutorial with some pics, but it was a bit too sketchy for me to try. I'd really like to find a video or very detailed disassembly/assembly layout,if possible. Anything I should do to the pistol while it's torn down, maybe to smooth up that trigger a bit?

Its actually pretty simple,

pull out the locking plate for the slide stop lever pin on the right side (when looking down on the slide)

Push the slide stop lever pin through the receiver and out the other side (the slide stop pin is actually part of the slide stop lever)

Slide the slide forward while keeping the underside of the slide covered (to stop the recoil spring from flying out)

Slide the muzzle plate left or right to remove the barrel

When putting it back together, its far easier to place the recoil spring into the slide against the muzzle plate after the muzzle plate has been locked in place, as opposed to stuffing it down the slide and placing the muzzle plate over top of a 'loaded' spring.

There are vids on youtube for this.

Run it over repeatedly with your pick-up until the parts come loose. Might also improve the gun's aesthetics.

Getting the slide off and barrel out are no problem, it's taking down the frame that is a bit more confusing. I'd like to take out the trigger and sear, hopefully do a little smoothing to make the trigger a bit better. Overall, I was surprised the gun was as well finished as it is. Not that it's great, mind you, but from what I heard here I thought it would look alot worse. The 1911 is actually pretty nice, and though there's lot's of sharp edges, the 213 is okay too.
