What's out there for under $5000.00 and would have available .223, .270, .30-06 and .375 H&H barrels?

I'm mostly familiar with the Encore/CVA stuff, and vaguely familiar with the Blaser R93. What else is there? Can you comment on the R93 if you've used one?

about 12 years ago i almost bought a blaser with 300 win , 338 win barrels , the shop wanted around 2 grand ........... i kick myself still for not running up my visa at the time .
these are extreemly well built rifles .
the targets that came with the rifle had 5 shots touching for each barrel ( i'm pretty sure it was done at 100 meters too ... not yards ) .

For $5K you could probably have a switch barrel bolt gun built for you, depending on such things as which action you chose, the number of barrels you wanted for it, or if you wanted more than one bolt to accommodate more than one head size. IIRC, a SAKO TRG-S bolt can be had with interchangeable bolt heads allowing you to simply change bolt heads rather than having more than one bolt. If you wanted barrels of different contours you might need more than one stock, but I think a long action bolt, with a stock fitted to a #4 sporter barrel would give you a fine selection of options.

I have a cva apex which is a switch barrel gun. Not in the league as a blazer, however at 100 metres the guns shoots sub moa. I just need to find a 300 win mag barrel to add to my 30 06. Good guns and can be purchased for under 600 bucks.

The ones that pop to mind for your specs are the Blaser R8 or R93, Sauer 202, Mauser M03.

I like the look of the Mauser M03, the standard model in .300 Win Mag can be had for $3,350 so by the time you buy the other 3 barrels it should be aroubd $6,000.

Wolverine supplies sell the Blasers, Sauers and Mauser M03s (check out the bigbore section of their website).
