Wow. Applied for my import permit yesterday at 10. Had it in my inbox yesterday at 6.

Sucks having to do it but at least the Export Controls people are really on the ball.

You no longer need to apply for Global Affairs Import Permit, Just need to show your PAL and Registration Certificate to CBSA. As of December 15, 2023.

Is the Export permit still required? I assume not?

So the process should be a Form 6 to enter the US, a STATT to the border and a STATT for returning when on the Canadian side?
