So I got a new spotting scope. It's a Bushnell T Series from PlainSight Solutions. I may be one of the first people in Canada to get one as I kept bugging him and when I placed my order they hadn't even been unpacked.

Nice spotting scope. It's a 15-45x with a mil hash FFP reticle. Came to around $700. Bushnell kind of dropped the ball on the lens caps and the three picatinny rails are kind of weird but overall I really like it.

I bought a little phone holder/adapter but I am having trouble getting pictures to look decent. They aren't focused or very clear.

Is there a trick to this? Don't let light in around the eyepiece? A camera setting? Not using a cell phone? I see some pretty decent videos on YouTube. Was hoping to be able to record wildlife and some of my long range shots.

Thanks in advance!

I think the key is to get a solid mount so it won't move when you try to take pictures/video.

Look at the end of the video around 4:15, he was using a G-Line mount.

I just got my new spotting scope today, and I'm planning to order this mount.
