So I missed an opportunity for a restricted vector,

Then I saw an ad at Zahal for a Glock body kit.

I don't need this and really have no interest in a Glock or any other plastic fantastic unless it's a FiveseveN

But I could get a used Glock for 500-600, and the kit for 300ish, this might just scratch my kriss itch at half the price...

Positives? Negatives? Personal experience with these kits?

No competitive use. Just range plinking and couch fondling (ha! That reminds me of my youth...)

Any input is greatly appreciated.

Do you truly believe this will scratch the itch for another item you want? I don’t. The heart wants what it wants, logic be damned, and you’ll end up with a Kriss either way. That said, more guns is always the answer! Go for it!
 
Haha, You're probably right about that.

I should keep saving my pennies for the kriss.

I just keep seeing cheap glocks showing up on EE and thinking about dressing them up.

You alway see chassis on 10/22s or sks or what have you..
I just don't hear much about a kit for a Glock..
 
I bought one of those body kits and was all worked up over the idea. Took it out once and had a total blast with it but by the end of the day I was done with it and flipped it on the EE. YMMV.

Dont' get a Glock in the first place or sell all your Glocks so you have no reason to have this.. problem solved ;)

Actually I have seen one that has a long replacement barrel but forgot which one it was.. if not a KPOS it would be RONI... I like that one better.
 
We waste so much money on so much random stuff anyways, if you have the extra cash to spare, just buy the combo.
