i have an M&P 9mm that shoots low, very low and I want to see if I can get a taller front sight to bring it up. I can't seem to find anything that is taller or adjustable. Any good ideas?
Thanks

To bring your group up you have to lower your front sight or raise your rear sight
if you put a taller front sight when shooting low your shots will be even lower.

I would suggest installing a new adjustable rear sight.
Check out some of our dealers not sure which one carries S&W sights.

How much shooting experience do you have, what hold do you use on the target, have other shooters fired the pistol and had exactly the same results???

First things first... Put the gun in a vice or use a good bench rest to see if the pistol really shoot low. If not, well the problem is you... ;) Start from 3 meters and make your way up to about 15 meters.

I have a M&P... And it shoots dead on. Also the M&P is not a 6 o'clock hold type of sights. More like most HK's the front sight will cover your target. Might be the problem.

my M&P is dead on using the third graphic.

My M&P 9mm also shoots real low, Confirmed also by other shooters off the bench, I'm also looking for sights to help, a fiber front and maybe adjustable rear is what I would like to find as well.

I've also ordered a few different rounds (not in yet) hoping a heavier bullet may hit higher?

Whoops, yes, lower front sight.
It's not me, it's the pistol...bench tested by 3 people and all results the same. I'm a decent shot and they are all 6" low. I bought a laser (more for fun) and sighted it in and it works well. I like the gun (minus the sighting and crunchy trigger) but would love to be able to shoot straight without the laser.
So, who has a lower front or higher rear?
Thanks

I've seen some pretty decent shooters who have no familiarity with striker fired 'safe action' pistols blow mag after mag low and left. Correct aiming method for the M&P is to 'drive the dot' - put the white dot on the front sight on the centre of the target.

I appreciate the input guys but it's not me, really. It's like 6" low but dead straight. I'm not jerking the trigger, I've done it on the bench and several others have shot it and had the same results.
I can't find any adjustable sights for this pistol....where to get?
