Talley Rings for Swarovski Z5 44mm

Looking for a little help on this. Just picked up an KimberAdirondack on the EE with a set of Talley Low. Was thinking of putting my Z5 Swarovski 3.5 x 18 44mm on the gun but not sure if it will fit with low talley Rings. According to the site it wont fit since it's a 1" tube but I was told it may fit dure to the size of the Swarovski bell. Anyone have any experience?

It will fit. Sounds like you have all the parts, why not mock it up?

Might have to modify your scope caps, depending on how far back you mount the scope and what caps you use.

Just waiting for the gun to arrive and then i will see. There isn't anywhere local to get Talley Mounts so I'm going to have to order mediums if they don't fit.

It's worth it to wait and try but I'm pretty sure you will need medium rings.

I have the Swaro Z5 3-18X44 in Tally Lows on two of my Rem700s. That Kimber will have a faster taper than my 700s so those rings should fit well.

Not sure whether the question is about the Talley lightweight alloy mounts or the all-steel base+mount. However, I have the latter--base + low rings--and they leave lots of space (enough to accommodate lens covers) between the objective bell and the barrel on my rifle which has a standard-weight barrel. The Talley bases run about .175" in height. The low 1" rings run .30", so together, they put the scope about .475" above the receiver, and the center-line of the 1" scope at .975".

Mine is mounted in med rings...I think the bolt handle might contact the scope with low rings

Doesn't come near the bolt handle on mine with the low Talley rings.
