Talley Scope rings height HELP

Hey everyone. I bought a Remington 700 5R with a heavy contour barrel. I love the 1 piece alloy rings made by talley. I have used them on a few Browning rifles. The question is... Low ring height says it is good for scopes up to 44 mm with standard contour barrels. Will these Low height mounts work with a 40mm scope on a heavy contour barrel? Does anyone have experience with these rings?

Used them on a Remington with a mag contour barrel and 44MM scope. Just call them at Talley. They will tell you straight up.

should work, if not mediums aren't much higher and will do a 50mm on a regular contour
