Picked up the Talo edition from Williams Arms in Port Perry, Ontario last week for $395. This model is a vast improvement over the standard model l looked at years ago. My only complaint is recoil buffer that requires replacing every couple thousand rounds, but they are cheap and easy to install.

The trigger in this model is steel with an overtravel screw and not the stock plastic version. Trigger pull is also improved. Out of the box it was a constant 4lbs. After 100 rounds it dropped to 3 7/8lbs. I will wait to the 1,000 rounds and test it again. Time constraints only allowed me run 100 rounds down range.

After testing several brands it really prefers standard velocity target loads. Federal Gold Match ran a 1/4 groups at 25m with open sights from a bench rest. The sights are very tight with difficult to line up. The white line and dot will take some getting use to, but optics going on it anyway.

The fancy wood stock is very pretty but slippery to hang on to. A little skate board tape on the front and back strap did the trick.

Take down is simple and faster than my Ruger and you do not have the stock containing parts like my Browning. For a starting gun or a serious target pistol its a good bang for the buck.
