This one is synthetic. The Midwest chassis is aluminum so it is heavier. The Midwest unit also does not include the pistol grip but one version of it does include the buffer tube.how do these compare to the midwest industries chassis? This one is almost $100 cheaper.

If you don't mind a heavier long gun then the Midwest will work well. I handled one at the SHOT Show and it is solid. The Ruger PC9 is not a lightweight gun by any stretch and the Midwest won't make it any lighter.Oh didn't know it was synthetic. Guess I'm going with the midwest. Nothing against the tandemkross I just like the feel of a metal chassis.

Nice, but would prefer the straight version or the Magpul backpacker stock whenever it gets released.

Why do people want the angle to the dangle? I'm not into rifles much but isn't the current best principle in design to have the barrel in line with the shoulder stock? Why is there a reversion to older designs?

I was wondering the same. Looking at the picture in the ad it looks awkward?
