just practice when i,M confortable probably going for ipsc but not for now

Both are excellent pistols, but if your eventual plan is to shoot IPSC I'd do a little more research into which division you'd like to compete as both of these guns are not inexpensive. There are plenty of "just practice" guns that can be had for far less money.

If you are committed to either of these then it doesn't matter much as both are top-notch pistols.

i have a HK P30L before and l really dont like the trigger but for IPSC i know that STI it will go in the standard. I dont think i wiil do a lot of ipsc future will tell loll

USPSA will go in Classic - you can insist on Standard or Open though :)

Consider you budget.. and division. In IPSC your gone shoot lots so how much can you afford for ammo. If thats not an issue. Standard 40 cal is my choice and production I just go with 9mm. I have 1911 and Tanfo and I love them both. If you have the money you will eventually get both.

There has been a tanfoglio on the ee for weeks that I am lusting after, just dont have the green.....I'm contemplating selling a kidney....lol ..good luck, I can't believe you'd be dissapointed either way..

I got really lucky. I got a Tanfo Stock (not 2) but its has bull barrel. Doesn't look like to much wear and tear nor movement no nothing springs seem very stiff still. I don't think the gun has seen more then 2000 rounds. I paid a whopping 800 Dollars for it including shipping. I feel like I got a steal of a century.

Triger in DOA is a bit stiff but single action can't be more then 5 pounds.

The Gun is fairly heavy which is nice for IPSC.
