Any opinions about Tanfoglio Witness 1911? At first look it's similar to Norinco. Priced for half of Colt....
Is that good or crap producing only to fill full line of pistols to really hot Tanfoglio race guns?

Also
Anyone has a descent picture of witness 1911? The pictures in the Freedom Ventures website are awful.
Gunnar had them for sale while ago. Anyone here that has some shooting experience with them and can supply us with some quantified results with respect to their accuracy. Like at 10-15-25 yards freehand or resting on bench and the grouping results. Any failure to feed and eject or stove piping? Comments regarding the fit and finish.
A comprehensive owner range report with lots of pictures is the way to go. I really like to finalize my decision to purchase. I have not seen any in EE for sale. Either they are too good to let go or no one has purchased any yet.

Thanks
:)

1911 Custom

Here,s a picture of mine, very straight shooter with a smooth operating recoil, the sights are good fully adjustable and the slide and mag releases are extended for easier operation. When I first got it there was some trouble with misfeeds but I sent it back to Freedom Ventures and the guys there fixed it up and threw in a spare magazine for my troubles, very good service on their part.

Thanks RHall. A good picture and a beautiful handgun. Could you post more pictures of different views and perhaps if not too much trouble a taken down disassembled view? The good folks down the Freedom Ventures should use pictures of this quality and caliber for their website. By the way, could you elaborate more on the subject of its accuracy? I mean give some numbers/measures and may be what ammo (factory/reload) was used. I am getting very interested in this handgun but probably I will be getting the fixed sight version. A range report project would be nice if you've got some time to do it. Thanks a bunch for your reply.:)

Tanfoglio Pics

Here's a few more pics dont mind the mess its in these pics were taken right after a trip to the range havnt cleaned it yet, as for some stats Iam shooting indoors now and can only shoot 30 yards, but in a bench rest it will shoot 6 inch groups. Next time Iam out I will pay closer attention and record some different distances.

CZ-75B, Tanfoglio Witness, CZ-75B, Tanfoglio Witness, .....
If you don't have a CZ75/85....plunk down your cash and learn why it's one of the most popular/cloned firearms in this sector of the galaxy.
