Tanfoglio LC or an modified STI Edge - Which one

I am looking at a standard gun for IPSC. Which gun from experience would be a better choice. A Tanfoglio Limited Custom or a modified STI edge?

I have many years shooting in IPSC, open, production. Looking for other experienced shooters opinions.

Both are great platforms so you'd be well served with either choice. For me it comes down to ergonomics, and I like the Tanfos in that regard. My trigger finger tends to rub on the frame on 2011 style pistols, which steers the gun during the firing process. So it requires a certain amount of frame cutting and fussing around to get proper clearance. But that's just me.

Before you put your money down see if you can find people in your area that own each of these and try them. That's the only way to know for sure what flavor you prefer.
