Tanfoglio V8 load thoughts

FOr major , I am shooting a V8, 38 super. I have 3 N38 VV. Any thoughts on load length, etc...124gr heads. I posted this here, as it pertains to IPSC major loads. I am thinking the 9.0gr may not be be good enough.

That load will get a PF of about 163. How much do you you need? 170? Wrong powder.

That load fills the case and is absolute max by my experience.

I suggest 10.5 gr of N105, for about 1400 fps.

They are called "bullets", not "heads", by the way. The head of the cartridge is other other end, where the writing is. It is called a "headstamp" because it is stamped on the "head" of the case.

thanks for your advice. I call them heads all the time.
I call them projectiles...usually never "bullets", as customers call or message me looking for "bullets",...and actually want "ammunition" instead of "projectiles", or "heads"...
