Tang sight indentification

I was given this tang sight quite a few years ago, a friend found it in his fathers old reloading supplies when he passed away. I know nothing about tang sights and was wondering if you could help me figure out what it is for and what it is worth, if anything.

The mounting holes are 1.5" from center to center and it says made in Italy on it, thats about all I know. I don't think it has ever been used but not sure.

Any ideas on the maker and what it might fit . Sorry about the small pics.

Made in Italy, most likely a Pedersoli.

Try here you might find one, and it would be place to sell, some tang sights go quite high good luck
