Tangfolio 1911 Custom Trouble

Iam still having trouble with my 1911, it misfeeds and jams at least once every magazine, upon inspection an expeirenced 1911 owner noticed that the slide sits 1/8 inch forward on the lower frame in the normal position back by the hammer, is this normal with 1911,s or could this be causing my trouble, Ive made adjustments to the mags as recommended to me but no differnce.

If the back of your slide ( below the rear sight) is sitting 1/8" ahead of the the back of the frame then you definitely have something wrong, the rear of the slide should line up with the rear of the frame.
Can you post a digital picture?
