One of the perks of being a volunteer with a tiny all volunteer run military museum here in Brandon is I get to play with some fun stuff so without further ado pictures of one artifact that draws the most attention:

Captured by the Canadians.. I'm in the process of finding which Infantry Battalion captured it.

You can use an MG 08/15 bipod on it.... Not totally correct but they were used.
The AT rifle normally used a bipod with round legs instead of the rectangular ones.
You will find some round leg bipods some later 08/15's

I "played" with one of those many years ago at Elwood Epps' when he was in Clinton Ontario.
It belonged to one of the smiths with whom I was acquainted, wonder where he and it are now?

There was reference to one of these being captured and used by a Canadian Battalion.
We have one of these in the Regimental Museum, not sure of it's lineage though.
Somewhere in my video collection I have footage of one being fired. Impressive.
Thanks for sharing

If I may ,the ammo for this rifle, was it only armor piercing? I to had a chance to handle one of these rifles a few year back. The size and weight were impressive it had to be a chore to drag through the muck and myer and to keep it clean enough to fire it.
