Tap and die for VZ58 muzzle

I am looking for the proper tap to match the VZ58 muzzle threads for a custom muzzle brake. I have the Metric 14x1mm right hand die (also left hand for the AK threads) but no taps. Is the 14x1.25 rh tap the proper size? Also, what drill bit do I need to use to make the hole in the brake?

If anyone sells the proper tap in the lower mainland BC please PM me.

14x1 RH would be the Tap required as well.

For a muzzle brake and its gonna sit flush and not go thru and thru you need a bottoming/finishing tap, Try tooling placing.

Amazon.ca you can get them for like 13 to 16$.

Drill size for M14 x 1 = 13 mm, which is .512".
Nearest standard drill size is 33/64".

drill tend to drill bigger , so 1/2 will do the job , op have probably more chance to have a 1/2 drill than a 33/64
