I put a new Tapco Intrafuse stock on a Norinco SKS, using the stock magazine. The problem is when I assemble everything, the magazine is loose, and when I open it with the bolt open, I can actually pull it out.

Is there something that should be holding the back of the magazine in (the side oposite the mag release?

The front of the magazine is he in place by the trigger group, but I dont see anything that the back clips into.

SKS newbie here, so any comments appreciated!

Thanks!

Im at work so I can't look at mine, but I beleive there is a notch or a pin you have to have the front end of the mag (furthest from trigger assy) underneath.

Im sorry if this is vague, I will check mine out and get back to ya.

I checked, and it looks like there is a little lip that it should go under, but it is way too small. I see no possible way of getting it under. If you tell me for sure it is supposed to go under it, I will keep trying. Appreciate your response.
Thanks!

If its the factory 10 rd hinged floorplate mag, the Tapco stock shouldnt be affecting it. There is a small lip at the front of the mag that sits in a small lip under the barrel. Have a look through the magwell and find it, it can be a little tricky to seat the mag in there.

It is the stock hinged magazine... is it possible it is supposed to be longer, and it broke off? Or maybe it needs to be bent down for more clearance? I see the clip, but even with the stock off, themagazine wont go under it
