I have seen these mentioned in other forums, but I have 2 questions:

1. Does anyone know a dealer in Canada who deals in these SKS stocks?

2. Will Tapco ship to Canada?

These are the stocks with the SAW grip, and AR-type collapsable stocks.

Any info is appreciated.

1. Sorry I don't know :(

2. No they don't ship to Canada

The only other company that I've heard of that ships to Kanukistan is
[urltp://www.copesdist.com[/url] and I just heard back from them ten min ago and they no longer ship here.

I know that I'm newer but there seems to be an awfull lot of T6 related threads, we should try to get everyone on the same sheet of music..........IMHO:)

Ok, thanks

I did find one place who will ship, but then it has to get past customs...............

They are not a prohibit device so it should be OK IF all the paperwork is in order.

the stock is not a prohibited item and also it is not for a prohibited weapon (eg: AK) according to canadas import and export control so no problem importing it into canada.

however the US dept of state requires you to get an export permit if your purchase of gun parts greater than $100 so should you decide buy the $80 basic then no permit is required but if you have to have that camo version that sells for $120 then you have go thru the hoops im afraid.

I thought this was the case, too. Until I tried to order a Monte Carlo Stock from Ithaca USA for my 37 T. It was stopped at the border twice by Canada Customs. I t was labelled an "Implement of unrest." I finally got a guy with an import license who deals with Ithaca on a regular basis to get it for me. A wooden shotgun stock. Thes fools in customs just love to make thier own rules...........

if i worked at custom and a box came in front of me declaring as "implement of unrest" heck!!! i would open it. who at ithaca came up with that description?

im surprised canada custom gave you so much grief, werent you able to convince them its for a shotgun?

this guy who finally brought it in for you, is he a gun dealer? did he charge you a fee?

When Ithaca had it sent back to them by customs, that was what customs had written as their reason for sending it back. No the guy who brought it back is a gunsmith, and he didn't charge me.
