I got mine up from the states last spring no problem. Ordered direct from the states after hearing from the local shops here about the ag and extra costs they have getting them accross the border.

Seems to me that as long as the total $ value is less than $100 us, no worries (don't quote me on that though.)

FYI, stock is great! extending stock really helps.(IMHO)

I got one for my 10/22 through Brownells, it's under $100 so it came through as a regular parcel, no export/import hassles at all.

Thanks for the reassurance, I bought one from a gunnut here for my youngest son, then decided to buy one of my other son for Xmas.
I ordered it on Nov 23, so maybe it's still clearing customs.

Phew !
Stock was delivered to my door at 5pm Christmas eve. I live just ouside of town and have a mailbox. Normally the lettercarrier leaves a card saying to pick up the parcel at the P.O. the next day.
The lettercarrier worked way past her working hours and personally delivered EVERY parcel she had on her route.
Best way I can think of thanking her ,I'll be writing a letter to the paper.
