Why is that a reason to lock a thread?

I and a few others have Tapco products and are happy with them.

Why would you lock a thread where somone is asking for info on a product?

Just because you don't like it?

Don't know about quality but I am considering the Tapco stock for an SKS.
It's the only adjustable stock sks stock I have found so far. My GF is much shorter than I am and I want the sks to fit us both.

I asked a few times and searched all over and no one I could find in Canada carries them, and American dealers don't ship to Canada (Federal law reasons?)

The advice I got was "Watch ebay for private sales"

I can bet the thread was locked b/c discussions were happening about breaking the US laws on export of parts.

1) - Its crap

2) - Its illegal to export from the US.

3) - Dont be a cheap **** -- buy from a supporting dealer and dont be an ass.

4) - Ebay shipping is still a violation of the ITAR.


5) - Failure to heed the board rules will get you a quick trip on the short bus out of here.
