I recently got my tapco stock for my 10/22 and I was wondering what that little brass ring is for that came with it. I thought it might be used sort of like the brass insert on the original stock but the stock screw is too large for it. Does it have anything to do with the front sling swivel? Just wondering since I put it all together and it seems to work fine, just wondering what the hell to do with that ring!

I got my order into Brownells, no problem, great friendly service infact, Cabelas were just jerks , the difference was night and day, I would never call them (Cabelas) again. I also ordered a butt pad with the t6, will increase pull a bit. Looking forward to eyeballin' their cataloge now that our peso is worth something.

I just received my T6 stock today...SWEEEET!!!! The washer is for the screw that holds the front sling swivell on. Without the washer, the screw can't tighten enough and there's a little bit of play on the swivell.
My 10/22 was the 10/22RR with the fiber optic sights and bandless 20" barrel. I had to remove the rear sight to fit the front handguard with the rail on it. I'm very happy with the fit and finish of this stock...it's solid and tight. I like the dark earth colour also. Can't wait to shoot it.
