Target rifle rest

I'm looking for recommendations on target rifle rests. I normally shoot from a bench and currently use a Caldwell BR rock but it still leaves quite a bit to be desired as the adjustments are not very smooth etc. I'd like to keep the cost under 500 if possible but could go a little over if needed.

Look for a used Sinclair rest. They are heavy, robust and work very well. They pop up from time to time on the EE.

I have a sinclair on backorder but no eta for them yet.

The wait will be worth it. I got mine in 2017 and use it for rfbr, cfbr and score shoots. It works good.

Sinclair is the best for the money. Two showed up un the EE no more than a week ago..one that needed the competition top and a complete like new.
They are not too many coming up for sale. Quite rare actually.

That's what I've been finding. I guess I'll have to keep looking or wait for my backorder to come in

Protektor now makes a bald eagle type rest they are OK. Plenty o patches can get the farley rests 8n and they are really good but about 1500$

They other thing to think about is a good rear bag as well.

Maybe a D.R Greenlaw top for your Caldwell rest.

I always wanted to try (I think its called) the joypod? I think its a little above the 500 mark though.
