What target scoring software are you using? I see these posts with targets that have been scanned or analysed as to group size by some sort of software. That looks really useful. What are you using?

I'm using the Gordon's Reloading Tool. Its a free European program similar to QuickLoad. It has the ability to mark up pictures of your target. You can save the load info and target results in the program.

Ballistic-X, free I believe.

Will that app work with any target? IE, you input the target scale? Is it easy to use? Does it calculate group size in MOA?

I wonder if its better to have an app on a mobile device? Or software on a PC? Hard to decide. Maybe better to have it mobile so I can measure them at the range.

Yes, you set whatever you want to measure in. Use a reference on target to give you your scale and it lets you plot bullet holes and poa if you want to. Then spits out group size. Handy on the phone because always have phone at range and can email or print pics with target results on it.

So handy to have it on the phone...seems like we never go anywhere without it nowadays. Jot your notes on your target...take some pics...relax back at home and plot your range play session.

SubMOA is free and will measure group sizes, if that's all you're looking for.

I installed it and it works great. Thanks!
