Target Shootin 1875 Remy and S&W frist model (Pics)

Well i got my new Glasses the other week.
I had and Eye glass place put my eye perscription in a set of Gold Rayban Shooters Frame.
What a Diffrence being able to see is

The Target with the tape measure shows the Remington 1875 with twist gain rifleing shooting Reloaded 45 Schofields they were 6 grs of Trail boss and a 250 gr Keith bullet sized .454.
Nice to Shoot and this was at 50 YDS (now i can see) One shot from the Remy dropped till i got set up right that wasnt the gun that was me.

The Scattered group was still good for 50 yds that was with a 4 inch barreled Antique S&W Frist model long cylinder gun shooting Factory 44 SP Winchecter cowboy ammo.
It shoots to the left which meens site adjustment.

This is a Antique Remy 1875 with a 7 inch orignal 45 cal barrel with twist gain rifleing, set up in 45 Schofield

This was at 50 yds not 25. I dropped one shot but the gun can do this at 50 yds shows that Trail boss and a keith bullet are a deadly combination.
I only loaded 15 rds and was hitting a coffee can over and over blasting the crap outa it it was alot of fun.

This shows the more scattered group of the 4 inch barreled Long cylinder Antique S&W DA to the Left of the Target set up to shoot 44 Sp Winchester cowboy ammo
But still not to bad for 50 Yds Antique with facvtory ammo.

At 25 Yds the gun had 3 bullet holes all touching.
Just gota play with the sites i hate guns that shoot right or left like that.

I do like the lines of those Remys looks like things are working out good for you .
Rolling cans around chasing golf balls and shooting stuff off a fence is there any better way to spend a day .

Pretty damn good for an old shootin iron Dingus. I cant do any better with my modern guns.

And thats off a pistol rest eh!
I was only able to shoot 20 yds for the last 5 years.
Everything past that i seen two things side by side they call it Stigmatizen or some such crap.
Anyway i had to go to 3 eye glass places till i found one that would put my Perscription in my Rayban shooters frames that were like new but the other places wanted to sell me there small crappy geeky frames.
These ones even self Tint in the sun

Man its like im 20 again. Cars dont swerve outa the way waveing there fists honking ect at me as they pass, LOL life is good!

I could pick off wolves from 50 out to two + hunderd yds no trobles now.

That twist gain rifleing Remington used works great.

gota see if i can get my other antique 1875 one with a modern rifled bore its 7.5 inchs long to shoot as good as this 130 year old barrel.
be very intresting test.

That is downright good .... real good! If my Colt shoots that well I probably won't know it, because I'm not sure I could shoot a group like that even from a pistol rest, although I certainly plan to practice a lot. Love that Remy! Classic old west sixgun.

I dont have any pics of the S&W loaded yet,
Looks just like the one you got.

I like the Remy 1875 but to say i like it better than a SAA colt well mine shoots better but i do love my SAA colts to.
Its to hard to call my Remys have smother actions due to there better springs.
The extractor on a SAA colt works better i think tho.

My Antique 7.5 inch barreled 44 SP SAA colt id have to try it at 50 Yds now i can see and with Reloads to compare the two.
