Target shooting with a few buddies question

Hi all!

I was thinking of taking a few friends out to shoot a few of my guns and teach them proper safety and handling techniques of course. I usually go shooting on crown land in Ontario and was wondering if my friends have to have licenses to shoot my guns? If not, is there a limit to how many people I can have with me?

NO limit and they don't need a license, but they need to be under your direct supervision (some will say 1 arm distance).

They don't need licenses but only one person shoots at a time with you in direct supervision.

If your shooting on crown land be sure that you are not carrying hunting gear. Its a risky business, you don't want a MNR rep slapping you with a poaching charge.
