target turret info

hey , im looking for some reading material on using target turrets.
id like to know how to dial in for certain distances . and zeroing , paralax all that good stuff. any suggestions?

zero your rifle (lets use 100 yds) loosen the turret ( usually little allen screws) and set the zero mark on your turret to line up with the hash mark on body of the turret... tighten the screws again... you need to know how much dial up you need for the distance you're shooting...ex: lets say you need 10 moa to get you to 500 yds... simply dial the scope "UP" till #10 on the turret lines up with the hash mark... you're zeroed for that shot.. after you shoot dial it back "down" to zero... you're back at 100 yds...
