Tariffs on Antiques

Saw on the list of Tariffs from the us, antiques between 100-250 yrs old going down south. Guessing our government will implement something similar on the 8th.

Well that is unfortunate. Antique's market is already expensive as it is. I wonder how long this will last.

Just want to remind everyone that tariffs are applied by country of manufacture. US tariffs against Canadian goods are in effect right now, but there aren't too many _Canadian made_ antiques.

If - and it is still an if - counter tariffs do get put in effect, they will be levied only on US manufactured antiques.

For anyone interested, the countertariffs have been published. Antiques are not in the list and neither are guns or ammunition.

That 50% extra would kind of suck for the Rich Guys, a Bunch of Guys I dont belong too.

I understand Bonnie used that 16Ga Shotgun to kill 2 Motorcycle Cops. That Gun aparently sold for 1 Mil. US at the RI Auction which translates into 1,390000 Canadian. Slap on another 50% wew, you do the Math becouse I am getting Dizzy.

But that's the point I'm making. Your example is Belgian made. So no matter where it's being imported from it will have 15% (not 50) tariff coming into the US and 0% under CETA coming into Canada.

To get hit with the 50% tariff you'd need to be importing a Cooey into the US.

So is the list of counter tariffs all that they have added so far? Looking at a S&W piece from the U.S
