Anyone have experience with these? I notice they're on sale at Al Flaherty's for a pretty good price and I'm thinking of putting one on my Marlin 795.

Comments would be appreciated!

I got 1 on mine & don't have any problems hitting or seening out to 200 meters in all lighting conditions. Although it's a Tasco 3-9x56mm

thanks for all the positive feedback.

i don't want to spend a fortune, so it sounds like this will be a good mate for the 795.

Tasco Scope

I have a Tasco 6-24 on a Remington 700, and it works great. I also bought 2 NC Stars - one on a .22 and one on a 300 Win. Mag., both work like a charm. I bought my first cheapo (NCStar) scope out of curiosity, and I was 100% satisfied with it, so I went ahead and bought 2 more. Until I see proof to the contrary, I'll stick with these (although my favourites are the NCStar).

Turned out that Lebaron's had them MUCH cheaper than Flaherty's. When I popped in, 3 and 5 year olds in tow, the 4 gun shop guys had nothing to do and seemed downright pleased to see a customer.

Now all I have to do is MOUNT the thing.

I've had a 3x9-32 Tasco on my JW-25a for going on three years and have had no problems with it. Have played with the power settings whilst shooting at various ranges and never had a problem with a wandering zero or anything else.
Cheers!

I'm the odd man out. I had that exact model, the .22 mag. It sucked. I couldn't get it to hold zero on a .22 wmr. I've had good luck with other tasco's but this model was far from impressive. I might have had the one in a million, but I'd never buy that particular model again.
