Well after complaining to WSS they shipped it out the next morning and two days later it arrived. The box was HUGE and I couldn't understand why. I opened the parcel because I wanted to make sure the scope wasn't damaged (sucks giving someone a first place prize that is broken).
The moment I opened the box the SIZE of this scope made my jaw hit the floor! Holding it next to my Savage Mark II "G" the bloody scope is HALF the length of the barrel/receiver!
I took the scope outside to look through it and yeah, at 24x the scope is so blurry you wouldn't be able to hit anything, 18x is about the max that was 100% clear. Even with this I still fell in love with the bloody thing.
As per the agreement I got to keep the two shooting bags so I spent an hour at the beach with a sifter and filling the bags up with the finest sand I could.
The rimfire shooting competition takes place tomorrow and I'll going to bring the front shooting bag with me (allowed per our rules) to help me out. I don't expect to win since there are allot of really good shooters coming but I hope to at least place in the top 5!
