Tasco 6x24 varmint Mil reticle

Just picked one up for my .17HMR,from the G.N classifieds.Question....what are the adjustments that are made at the far end of the scope(i.e not the eye piece end).Checked the web site and not much info there.

Adjustable objective. When you shoot at a certain known distance, you set this for the range. It will take out all or most parallax.

Thanks fellas.I guess it was probably an easy question for you guys.I have been an open sights shooter but at 44.....now...I need a bit of optical assistance.I will tinker with this at the range and post my results.Thanks again.
