Tasco lifetime warrenty

In all the catalogs I read, such as Wholesale and S.I.R they have a small "limited lifetime warrenty" next to the tasco varmint scopes. But when I bought one locally yesterday the warrenty card with it says the lifetime warrenty only applies to scopes purchased in the U.S only.

Did I just buy a scope that's been sitting on the shelf for way to long and has an outdated warrenty card or do we just not get the warrenty here like it says?

If so Canadian catalogs probly shouldn't have the limited life time warrenty thing.....unless those businesses take care of it for you, I don't know if they do just curious.

Tasco is Bushnell they will warranty your scope, same as Bushnell you send it with about $20.00 and they give you a new one.
