Just wondering if anyone has one that Canadian Tire sells.I think they only sell one model.Could you let me know if it works well on your 12ga, 2 3/4? I heard that they are not so reliable but don't know.Any info would be great

I have two that I purchased from LeBaron's, about ten bucks cheaper than Canadian Tire IIRC, but they appear to be the same Tasco model. One lived on a .22 for less than a year before giving up the ghost. The other is still going strong on a 12-gauge after about 600 rounds. Go figure.

The one that still works has always had a very stiff on/off/power adjust dial, and the dot isn't as sharply defined as on some better ones that I've seen. The mounting system is total crap, although as I said it seems to withstand the shotgun recoil so far. Windage and elevation adjustments seem to work as they should.

I personally wouldn't buy another one.

This is a low end red dot that we sell for $42.00. I do not recomend installing them on shotguns or any heavy caliber guns. The warranty is a year and they seem to hold uo OK on the rimfires and sub magnum calibers. You clearly get what you pay for. I suggest red dots or holo sites in the $300 + range for shotgun use.
