Taurus 1911

X2... not looking to hijack your thread so apologies if your offended but I literally was just going to ask this same question as I was looking at one this morning at a local shop. And comparing it to the Para Ordnance GI Expert I instantly eliminated the Para as a contender.

But from what I read searching on here the main issue with Taurus in Canada is lack of customer support but how does this relate to the 1911 models specifically and interchanging parts from other manufactures etc... if a problem/breakage did occur.

Thanks I watched that video and found it quite helpful. Also answers the question that standard 1911 parts will fit but really have to wonder why the wilson combat parts did not function and what the cause for it was.

Had as in past pretense ? If so, why did you get rid of it ?
 
Handled the one they had at The Shooting Edge and was quite impressed overall. Have yet to shoot one, but fit and finish is very nice.
