Taurus 24/7 G2...updates?

Good news - bad news - good news - bad news....
Here's the bad news.
Taurus has no intention of making 10 round mags for these this year (and didn't last year) - not enough market.
Here's worse news
At SHOT I measured the barrel with a rough devide I had brought down to the show and the barrels were really close to 106...
Here's the good news.
One of the Taurus engineers went back to Brazil and checked the specs and determined that the actual barrel lengths are 107 mm (OK) and not 4.25" Also, he reported that the 800 series pistols are not in fact, 4" - they are 107mm too, so I can get some and show them to the RCMP and get them reclassified as restricted, rather than prohibited.
Here's better news...
At SHOT, I checked out thier full capacity magazines and determined they could successfully be pinned to 10 rounds, legally.
So I ordered a bunch of full cap 24/7G2s. that will have the mags legally modified.
Here's slightly bad news...
Taurus is still backordered heavily and they do not give out delivery dates.
So, my 24/7 G2s could come in early next month or they could come in the fall. I just won't know until a few weeks before they ship.
Naturally, I'll let people know when they come in so they can contact thier dealers and get them, the best thing to do is contact one of my dealers and get a backorder in so you're guaranteed.
