I am working on memory with this question, certainly not experience. I have been out of shooting handguns for 20 years (not shooting just handguns), but kicking around getting back into them.
20 years ago I had a S&W 686, it had the firing pin on the hammer. I am thinking of buying a Taurus 589 on the EE.
Questions: Does it have the same firing pin assembly?
How easy is it to take that pin out? Could I punch that pin out 90% of the time and use it for instructional purposes and every now and then put it in if I wanted to shoot it?
