Taurus/Beretta Locking Block

Hi guys,

Last time I went to the range to shoot my Taurus PT99, at one point the slide started having problems to close after a round was shot.

At first I thought it was simply dirty but with closer inspection while cleaning I discovered that the locking block was cracked.

My question is the locking blocks from a Beretta working on a Taurus?

I've seen newer gen blocks kits from Beretta and I'm wondering what would be best to get for a durable replacement.

I had the same issue with my PT99 AF. I replaced it with a Beretta Locking Block and it fits perfectly. I got mine from Numrich.

yes they work. I'd look for one on a Beretta forum.

Try looking at taurusarmed.net, they have a full list of parts that exchange from Beretta to taurus.

Mine broke on my 92 SB and I could not find one in Canada anywhere. Finally one showed up on the EE and I bought it without even attempting to negotiate.

So far my search hasn't given result yet. I'll visit the local gunsmiths and see what they can do for me.

Jim S, did you had any issues to get the part shipped to Canada? Numrich have them in stock so I might just order from them to get this thing repaired rapidly...
