The deal with Taurus is a distribution deal - Taurus keeps it's distributors out of the retail market. The good news is that you can now buy that Taurus you were afraid to buy because of the lack of support. FV is a stand up company.

Reviving this thread... just trying to find someplace I can purchase a Taurus 1911. Checked some of the sponsors up top and only found Elwood Epps listing Tauruses.

Anyone else know of any other dealers? I r impatient

You could always contact Freedom Ventures, let them know what Taurus gun (or guns) you are looking for and see which of their dealers might have stock... That's probably the best place to start.

But for what it's worth, I do know that The Shooting Edge in Calgary has a stainless Taurus PT1911 in stock right now.
