I was at the range yesterday enjoying my Model 94 Taurus revolver, when after about 15 shots the hammer will not ####, yet the cylinder spins freely in the frame. I suspect the transfer bar has broke, but haven't done an autopsy on it yet. I started to call around today to inquire about Taurus warranty work, but no luck. Some of the retailers that I have contacted has stated that Taurus doesn't want anything to do with the Canadian market now so they won't honour warranty or ship parts. I am now starting to think that I am now the owner of a 9 shot Taurus paperweight.

I was online today visiting the Numrich sight, but they are out of stock. The transfer bar broke right at the very end where it connects so the transfer bar just flops around. It is quite a flimsy affair.

I stopped buying guns like that 4yrs ago. Some manufacturers parts are hard to get in canada since there is a small group selling them within the states only. Some older gun manufacturers are no longer in business. I will only buy a gun that I can find an abundance of parts for. Gunsmith making custom parts gets expensive, especially if you have a old gun that's not worth much. What's that point of paying $300 gunsmith fees when your gun is worth $300.
Do some research. The part you need could be like a 1911 were it is interchangeable. it just needs a little bit of sanding to fit
