Recently took a shine to some of the taurus pistols, theyre revolvers in particular. But im looking for some backround info on them, they arent exactly the most expensive pistol on the market, does that make them cheap and no good? has anyone used one of these before? Where are they made?

had a 24/7 in 40 fit and finish was good functioned everytime. thing i didnt like was that the mags were extremely tight i couldnt get the last round in even had other people try.
they were changed out no problem still stiff but better. good gun for the money new but in the end i changed it out for glock more optons for holsters and mag availbility.

Had a Raging Bull in .44mag, it was an awesome gun, wish I still had it.

Also had a PT1911 it was good too, just wasn't my thing.

Taurus is a Brazilian manufacturing company that started out making guns and has had close business/ownership ties to both Smith&Wesson and Beretta. There's a pretty good summary on Wikipedia

I believe that Taurus has had their ups and downs over the years, but they are worth a look.

I have hard time to put the last two rounds into both of my g17's mag, so yours aren't bad. Taurus made awesome guns.

I had a 24/7 in 9mm and all in all it wasn't a bad gun, but finding mags and other stuff can be difficult and the take down was a bit of a ##### the first couple of times until you get the hang of it. Great price point, fit and finish where good.
