yes it is a restricted (4.25in)

Never actually saw one, but I do think it should be a decent gun. The last time I was at Shooters choice in waterloo they had 3 Taurus guns, give them a call, but any gun store should be able to get one in for you.

Well... Taurus is certainly decent for being at the lower end of the cost spectrum. However, Taurus USA's technical service does NOT extend up to Canadian customers... so if something breaks... you're buggared.

That is of course unless you decide to drive down to the states, pick up a replacement part... drive back up to Canada and fix it yourself.

For me, getting Taurus parts from the states is pretty easy, so break downs are not really a factor. Whats to break anyway ?

I like the size and look of this gun and I thought that it would probably be on the cheaper side as stated. Not sure of the price yet though.

Magicchip, if you have any experience with this particular taurus line, please post it, the more info I can get the better.
