Do you have a Taurus 454 Raging Bull. What do you think of it. ?
trigger pull.?
nice or horrible to shoot. ?
accurate .?
ease of brass & reloading supplies ?

I have a 357 & a 44mag. Both are extremely nice guns to shoot. They don't try to jump out of your hand. They are both Lazer accurate. Hitting a 10x10 inch target @ 100 yards is easy. I want to go the next size up & the Taurus Raging Bull seems to be it. I had a model 608 in 357 with the ported barrel & heavy under lug, & I should have never sold it. Very nice shooting revolver & you could run Max loads and it was easy to control. here is a pic of my 2 favorites.

I have the SS version of the 454 with the 5" ported barrel and the orange and black grip that shoots amazing. With my hot loads (30 grs of Lil'Gun under a 300gr Hornady) it easily hits the gong at the 100 yard line. My tame 45 Colt loads (9 grs CFE pistol with a cast 255gr swc) can be shot all day as they feel very light and group better than most other pistols I and others have experienced. Finding brass and bullets is easy.

well this certainly sounds promising . I was unaware that colt 45 could be used as well..aarggg, I just sold a bunch of colt brass I figured I wouldn't use. Sounds like yours has really good accuracy.Thanks.

Ive benn waching for 5" Raging Bull 454 casull, they dont seem to come very often....anyone no where to pick one up?

I would grab one if you saw it. Mine came from a indoor club shooter who was having issues with his club when lights were getting blown out by the concussion of shooting full on 454 loads.

LOL...that's funny "right there" !

I guess its time to start moving some guns.

I use a raging bull in 44 mag for metallic silhouette big bore. I shoot to 200 yards with it. It's laser accurate. I've only put 1900-2000 rounds of 240gr over 24gr h110 through it.

You ever shot one or even been near a Raging Bull 454 when it's fired? Trust me, it's an experience and I hear the 460 sw are even better.

sounds like a "blast". cant wait to get one.
And no,...never seen one up close shooting. Biggest one so far is 44mag.

I have a 6" barrel Taurus Raging Bull in 44 Magnum, it's a nice shooting gun, obviously has some recoil. I'm not entirely happy with the double cylinder lock, but it isn't the end of the world either. Matter of preference I guess. I also have a S&W 629,8 3/8 barrel. I guess I prefer the S+W, but they are both great guns.

A fellow in the local club has one, he has had a lot of trouble with light primer strikes, other than that O.k., the ported barrel is not the pleasant on a indoor range.

Love it. When I fire the 454 RB on the indoor range, its like being in a snow globe. All the dust get knocked off the roof panels and rains down from the concussive blast..Gun is very accurate..Designed as a hunting gun for the US market but works very well on the dangerous paper targets as well. Grip greatly reduces felt recoil and is very nice to shoot..Firm grip is essential

I had the same issue with my Taurus 608. Shooting under the tin roof at the shooting stands at the range sounded like THUNDER from the ported barrel. when I was shooting it, other shooters would leave. I scared the crap out of a young couple with their 22's. I told them it was going to be loud.............they just weren't expecting it to be that horrendous !
I forgot to put my ear plugs in one time,..and the Screech was ear drum ripping, LOL
