I am looking for some alternative optic for a Tavor.

Those old Mepro 21s were nice and accurate but I sold mine off before the wash out remover was around.
The wash out in sunlight was murder.
I want something with three to four power magnification.

I have some 1-4 powers now and as nice as they are, I think they defeat the idea of CQB for a bullpup.

I love my friends' Elcan Spectre but the eye relief is absolute murder.

Does anyone use the AR332 in a Tavor?

Yup. Your old M21 was my first ee buy. I had the same issue as you and ended up selling it some time ago, took forever to find a buyer at $300. Now I realized I shoulda kept it as I just bought another for the Tavor course next weekend, but I typically run an Elcan Specter DR 1-4x.

Aimpoint Pro's for 400$ on EE, Thats what I have right now and I find RDS more fun on the Tavor as well...
Yes, I had a PRO on my CTAR that worked well. I'm got a Meprolight M5 on it now just to try something a little different....I wrote a post earlier this year with more details. There's something about the clear glass that I really like compared to the greenish-bluish tint that the Aimpoints and RMRs I've used have. I think it has something to do with how your brain interprets how your eyes see things—when you bring the M5 up it looks exactly like it did before except there's a red dot; with tinted screens it's like your brain has to do one additional calculation to figure out what it's seeing.

Onetwentyish, I actually sold two. I think TVPressPass got the other.

MasterG thank you for the link to your review.
That is pretty tempting.

How about a MOR with a magnifier - it's what the Israeli high speed guys use, apparently - and you get a laser or two built in.

I have the MOR, very happy with it - vis and I/R lasers, the latter not much use until I decide on a NV setup.

Thanks for all the feedback everyone.
The AR332 seems the way to go.
Three power and that big CQB circle to speed focusing, combined with a 32mm lens and forgiving eye relief.

I have the Burris AR536 on one of my guns. It's bigger than I thought it would be and the 5X is way too much for anything close in. For me for CQB type stuff I like either a simple RDS (I have a couple of SparcIIs) or a simple 1-4 scope. Any magnification messes me up at 25 yds or less.

How does a 1-4 defeat the idea of CQB in a bullpup?

I currently have an IOR 1-4x26mm with the CQB horseshoe.
It is ten to twelve inches long and I find that I take a second or two more to focus.
Probably better for more deliberate type of shooting, at least for my eyes

Crazy part is that I already have an AR332 and I like it.
Just once I zero it on a rifle, I really don't take them off, I just leave it on.
