I have not seen any at the Leduc ct in many months. Fwiw I love mine. Takes all kinds of abuse and use. I put the Timney trigger in and it is one of my prized tools.

I was at the Leduc CT a few days ago, they previously did sell tavors at a price point similar to what you said (very good price.) They have been trying to get some in, but are being prevented by the corporate office .
Demand is huge and the impression I got was that they could easily sell them as fast as they could get them, if they could get them in. This may change in the future who knows. on another note they had sks s.

I dont think it is that many. A phone call to Canada Ammo and North Sylva will answer the question though. Canam might answer the question but I doubt North Sylva ever would. Im willing to bet the number is closer to 400 to 600 Tavors total if that.

Pretty sure there were more Tavors than that registered when the registry ended. The last couple years the Tavor has grown to be one of if not the most popular NR black rifle in Canada.

The first 2 digits on the T97's is the year of production. My T97 I had from the initial launch was #130008xx, so I would guess by now there are 2-3k T97s in Canada.

I would also guess there to be close to that +/- some for Tavors as well.

2800$ ain't nothing. Pity us who paid over 3000$ for the gen 1's. Buy the time mine was all said and done with a new front end NEA rail kit, it was probably closer to 3300$.
