Tavor done in .22

Our American brothers are so desperate for the Tavor that one of them bought an airsoft version, tore it apart, and put a Ruger 10/22 in there.

Not a bad little project really. Its interesting to see how s**tty the plastic looks on the airsoft version compared to the real thing too.

A proper Tavor in .22 with a 25rd mag would be a best seller I'm sure if it could be kept <$1000. I'd buy one.

I looked at the bottom picture before I read the comments and the first thing that came out of my mouth was 'ACK! Butchered!"

Then I saw it was an airsoft and I LOL'ed.

I dont think thats a 10/22 in there , the bolt looks different and there is a sight "hole" at the end of the barrel, the pins on the trigger group look wrong too

Actually I'm surprised someone at GSG hasn't sat down and decided to make a .22 Tavor. They have the IWI license for their .22 uzis and micro uzis (which were a ton of fun at shot show!)

Except anything under $1k will be closer to Airsoft than the real deal.
