Tavor gas blowback to the face?

Running Gen 2.5. I haven't had any gas to the face. I'm 6'4" and my cheek weld might be further forward over the gas port than a smaller shooters. Maybe that's part of the reason why I've never experience Tavor face.

That is what I'm trying to find out. Gen 1 vs Gen 2. Who is getting the gas in the face?

My Gen 1 did.

Please tell us those who have not experienced this, which Gen rifle are you using?

I have fired 50k plus rounds with ar platforms never had any real bad gas issues. Two mags with a tavor and i felt like my throat was burning and eyes were dry and stinging. I guess it differs for each shooter but to me i didnt want to keep shooting.

2.5, and like I said. I get it on just about every shot. I don't notice as much when shooting prone.
I'm sure I could seal it off, but it hasn't bothered me that much. Nobody else who I've let shoot it hasent noticed it. So it could be where I put my cheek.
I'm 6'2" and my cheek almost toutches the rail when its shouldered.

Yeppers i got it every time with my friends gen 1, none with a t97 though. Oh the burning! Even with safety glasses my eye was all red after 100 rounds.
