And please don't start on me, I did a search. I could have gone thru 1800 posts looking for it. But at age 50 every second counts, I don't want to waste what time I have left :D

I remember someone posting a pic of where the gases were emanating from. The fix was a piece of black electrical tape (though I'll prolly be using black silicone instead.
I'm supposed to receive my rifle on Monday or Tuesday, just wanted to prepare.
Thanks!

Ah... Tavor eye... I've only experienced it without safety glasses... When I'm wearing them, no problems... If I was to correct the problem, I'd use the black silicone... I believe the gas to be coming from the "space" on top of the rifle just in front of where your face is when shooting...

Cheers

I think this probably happens with most bullpups. I got T97 eye with mine as the gas leaked out under the charging handle. In my case wrap around shooting glasses worked to help the issue.

less oil in the gas piston area pretty much eliminated the problem for me... or black hockey tape across the seam - silicone would just be messy - especially if you want to detail strip and remove the gas tube.
