Tavor + Gen 3 PMAG

Hi All,

Recently picked up a few gen 3 PMAG's and finding it really hit or miss when inserting on a closed bolt (tavor gen 2). Most of the time it will not seat enough for the bolt to strip a round off the magazine. With the bolt locked back - no problem.
I am aware of some issues with the earlier generations of PMAG's but had heard that the Gen3's were good to go.

Anyone with a similar experience? That being the case, any suggestions for some alternatives with no issues?

Your problematic PMags are probably just pinned too tight.

Same problem here, hit and miss with the 5rd pinned mags, the mags need to be pinned at 5.5rds, (so the 6th round can almost go in but not). the Bolt carrier rides to low on the mags inside the rifle.

I personally find most semi-auto's wont seat on a full pinned mag on a closed bolt. Just part of the fall out of our BS laws.
